So remember in my list of Top Ten Things To Do This Year, I had listed cleaning my room as one of them? Well, I finally start on it. In fact, I’m now in the process of completely gutting out my room. This is definitely going to be an uphill battle folks.
First off, I realized when looking through my closet, that I have far too many clothes that I no longer wear. I think I spent the better part of an hour sorting through all the clothes I know I’ll continue to wear and those that I’ll be getting rid of. I’ve placed them in two bags, one will be going to the thrift store, and the other will be going to my church’s youth group, which goes into Skid Row once a month handing out food and clothes to the needy over there.
Step two consists of reorganizing everything. I’ve been living in clutter for far too long. It’s not that I’m unorganized, but that I have too much stuff in not a big enough room. It’s really a matter of figuring out how to place things more efficiently in order to make more space. It’s kinda like a huge puzzle game. It’s too bad my room isn’t larger, that’d definitely make things easier.

That's What A Hamburger's All About
I just got off of work about an hour ago, so I’m really tired. I love In N Out, but sometimes I wish we didn’t close so late (1am). I mean, its awesome when you’re the customer, but when you’re the worker…. ugh. It’s really not that bad, its just that I’d rather sleep
. On the plus side, I just got 75 bucks from them just for being safe! For every six months our store goes without having an accident, we get rewarded. Our store’s been accident free for 3 years, so we get 75 dollars! At four years, we’ll get 100. Or a letterman jacket. As dorky as a letterman jacket sounds, it’s also really cool. I admit, I love working there.
I had an interesting time at the Men’s Wearhouse with Jason today. I normally don’t like going into suit shops, due to the fact that they’re filled with pretentious old men who seem stuffy and stale. Ick. Imagine a room filled with 4 or 5 Ben Steins. That’s how I picture a suit shop. Today was different though. As we went through Jason’s wedding tux plans and designs and whatnot, we were actually helped by a very nice lady. I think the best part was that she actually laughed along with our humor. If you know Jason and I, we can be very odd at times. I actually felt more comfortable talking to her than I would have a geriatric. Dare I say it, but she might have actually made picking out tux designs and fittings….. enjoyable. Now there’s something you won’t hear me say often. I have a tendency to really pick apart customer service and attentiveness, considering I’ve been in the same business for so long, so kudos to….. uh….. I don’t know her name. The Tuxedo Girl. I’ll just call her that.
Tomorrow I’m going to try and ask a complete stranger if I can take a photo of them. Let’s see how that works out.
