So happy late Easter to everyone! This day is extremely important to me as a Christian, because if Jesus had never risen from the tomb on the third day, then all of Christianity would mean nothing. As important as Jesus’ birth was, it was his finishing work that broke our bondage to sin, and became the bridge that allowed us to have a personal relationship with God. An amazing day in history indeed.

I haven’t updated in a while. Last week I was sick, and I really couldn’t think straight. I’m sure you’ve all had that feeling before. I’m setting a bit of a short term goal in relation to the blog. I’m going to try and update once a day for this whole week. I’ve let my creative juices stifle, and thats not good for me at all. But hey, that means more reading material for all 4 of you who read this blog .

Oh, here’s a shameless plug: Mother’s Day is coming up. You know what’d be a good gift? A family portrait session, so your mom would have some nice new pictures of you to hang up and show off to everyone. You know who’d be a good person to take them for you?

…. I’ll leave that as an open ended question. But I’m sure you guys know what I’m getting at .

Okay, I’ll leave you with a Youtube clip that was passed along to me over the weekend. It’s a clip from Britain’s Got Talent, basically America’s Got Talent across the pond. Susan Boyle is a 47 year old contestant, who’s trying her luck. She’s currently unemployed, has never sang in front of a large audience in her life, has never been kissed, lives with a cat,…. you get the picture. On top of that, she’s going to sing “I Dreamed A Dream”, one of my favorite songs from my favorite play ever, “Les Miserables”.

So my initial thought was, “oh man, I don’t even know if I should watch this, I know she’s just gonna end up butchering the song and screwing it up for me forever”.
