But I’m beginning to believe that Twitter is probably one of the most useful and efficient social networking sites now.

Sure, I’ve got a Myspace, and I think I signed up for Facebook somewhere (don’t really use it…), but Twitter keeps me more updated about my friends than either of those sites have in their whole existence.

I also feel slightly more comforted by the fact that the lives of many of my friends, and even those of celebrities, are actually as mundane as mine at times. And I get to know everything my friends are doing in 140 characters or less .

So there, my shameless plug for Twitter. And now back to our regularly scheduled program.
