A Plea For My Shoulders

Sorry, they're not for hire. They only model for me.

Sorry, they're not for hire. They only model for me.

Dinah and Samih were my first prom couple this year. We had a bit of extra time, so we decided to do some editorial style shots. Came out pretty well if you ask me. Though you might wanna click on the picture to get a larger and better view. Is it just me, or does the smaller size look a little blurry to you? Read the rest of this entry »

Swine Flu Is Overrated.

Aside from being somewhat bigger, he look just like Cuba Jr.

So I fail at updating this blog. Well, I do and I don’t. For one, I’ve been really busy with work these last couple of weeks, and haven’t had time to update. Or, if I do have time, I’m usually too tired to try and write. Blech. Then there’s Twitter. It’s not that I’m addicted to it, but I find that Twitter’s utility as a micro-blog of sorts is just so….. convenient. I’m quite interested as to what new direction the Internet takes, as it’s been such a fluid medium since its inception. It changes so quickly and rapidly at times that even being mere seconds behind the rest of the world is already too slow. Crazy stuff, that internet. Read the rest of this entry »

Discomfort

This could almost be a Men's Wearhouse ad.

This could almost be a Men's Wearhouse ad.

So another wedding has come and gone, and this one was a special one for me. It starred and brought two of my best friends, Annie and Jason, in holy matrimony. Awesome stuff. It’s a bit weird to think that they’re married now, but that just because I’ve known them for so long already. Read the rest of this entry »

The Rain Has Got It In For Me

Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days, for some reason my blog wasn’t working on my end. Apparently people could still view it, but I couldn’t even access it myself. Well, all is well and good now, and I even managed to work out a couple kinks I found on my site. Hopefully things will be smooth from now on. Anyways, I suppose I’ll go over whats been going on on my end lately, after the break. Read the rest of this entry »

A Few Random Thoughts

My mind has been in work mode all day long, so it’s a bit of a chore trying to sort out all my thoughts into one neatly compiled blog entry. So I’ll just cut them up into little trivial sections, and hope that at least one thought strikes a chord with someone else.

Is It Worth It?

As I prepare to make my tax statements for the year 2008, I’m sifting through all of my receipts purchasing photographic equipment, aka, work related expenses. And frankly, I’m appalled at myself. I won’t divulge the exact amount on here, but you can easily assume its in the thousands. And just today, I spent over a hundred dollars online purchasing extra camera batteries, memory cards, and lens caps. Now, while the jobs I got last year help to alleviate the spending, the truth is, I’m not even finished building my collection. So the titular question begs to be answered: is it worth it? Food Poisoning: Not So Fun

As much as I’d love to say these last few days have been awesome, they haven’t. I’m sure this post’s title is fairly self- explanatory. In short, I’ve been throwing up my guts and dying of dehydration thanks to something I ate. I’m still unsure of what it was that I ate, but when I find out, I’m going to try and avoid it as much as possible in the future. Read the rest of this entry »

Pre-Spring Cleaning

So remember in my list of Top Ten Things To Do This Year, I had listed cleaning my room as one of them? Well, I finally start on it. In fact, I’m now in the process of completely gutting out my room. This is definitely going to be an uphill battle folks. Read the rest of this entry »
